After breakfast depart to Habarana. Where you can spend the day at leisure, exploring the grounds of the hotel or the nearby town before preparing for an excisting day of new cultural experiences.
In the evening, we will be having a jeep safari at the Minneriya/Kaudulla or Huruluoya National Park which is famous only for the Sri Lankan wild Elephants. Habarana is the area for largest wild elephant gathering in South Asia.
This world heritage site, a spectacular rock fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major a reactions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the water gardens, the frescoes of beautiful maidens, and the mirror wall with the ancient graffiti, the lion platform and the summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory.

After Sigiriya climb we will be visiting a village kitchen using a bullock cart and crossing a lake on a catamaran to taste the local authentic food which will be cooked in front of you with the traditional cooking methods which was used by the Sri Lankans.

The Caves of Dambulla were originally used as a refuge for King Valagambahu who was seeking exile and was protected by the Buddhist monks of Dambulla. Later, once he regained his throne in Anuradhapura, the king converted the caves into a magnificent temple complex. The colorful frescos which cover the ceiling of the caves date back over 2,000 years. The Dambulla cave temple houses the largest number of statues of the Lord Buddha found in a single location.
After an early breakfast visit Udawa a Kele Forest Reserve for a few hours of bird watching. Exci ng for both bird watchers and those who want to spend the day surrounded by nature. Then proceed to NuwaraEliya,climbing up to the central highlands and spend the rest of the day taking a short walk in Victoria Park.
Leave very early in the morning with a packed breakfast for the Horton Plains for a morning of great birding. Take in the beautiful sites of the surrounding landscapes and after lunch Proceed to Thissamaharama.
Early morning, enjoy a game drive at the Yala National Park. Experience the majestic creatures of the wild in their natural habitat. An exciting experience that is not to be missed. In the afternoon proceed to Mirissa.
Leave for an early morning whale watching excursion. This is a must do for those visiting the country as Sri Lanka is considered one of the best locations in the world for Whale and Dolphin watching.
